Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has given up the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the 2027 presidential election. 

Governor Soludo, elected on the APGA platform, declared that his party, APGA, will not sponsor candidate for the 2027 presidential race. 

Soludo also believe that Tinubu has done well and deserves a second tenure. He expressed optimism that President Tinubu will win again in 2027. 
   
Soludo was cited to have declared: "President Tinubu is my friend, and I believe he has done well and deserves a second term. 

"I have no apologies about that. My people deserve a stake in government. 

"Tinubu will win with or without us. My party, APGA, won't be fielding a candidate in the 2027 presidential election.”
