The All Progressives Congress, APC, is beginning to suffer loss of membership in the build up to 2027 general elections.  

Senator Emmanuel Bwacha from Taraba State, at the weekend, officially resigned from the APC and defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The defection of Bwacha may sound queer are Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State recently defected from the PDP to the APC. 

Perhaps, the political elite may be tied up in balance of power game in the state, essentially, as the senator aspires for the the 2027 governorship ticket.
