The newly registered Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, at the reception of new members, rejected the attribution of "Third Force" status in the political space of the country.

The NDC leadership maintained that the party has the leverage to contest power with the long established political parties in the country.

The National Chairman of the NDC, Senator Moses Cleopas, at a reception for new members, led by High Chief Selekebina Sabor in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, called on residents of Bayelsa State to ensure they get their voters card ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Senator Cleopas stated that recent influx of new members is a proof of the NDC's growing influence and a testament to its potential, and opportunities in the buildup to the 2027 general elections.
