Factional ADC Questions Defection Of Kwankwaso

Factional stakeholders in the African Democratic Congress, ADC, are questioning the defection of Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to the party.

Factional leadership of the ADC, under Nafiu Bala Gombe, in a statement, expressed that the party is not open to takeover by individuals or groups seeking power for personal gain, but has commitment to democratic values and the welfare of Nigerians.

The leadership, which claimed to be the authentic structure of the ADC, acknowledged Kwankwaso’s political standing but raised concerns over his alleged alignment with a coalition, it described as, political power seekers.

Kwankwaso is being accused of associating with individuals purportedly attempting to take control of the ADC for personal and political interests.

The party urged him to reconsider his approach and follow established procedures, if he wishes to become a member of ADC.

The ADC maintained that it remains a platform for Nigerians and not an avenue for political opportunism, reiterating its stance on internal democracy and transparency.
