FCC Promises To Eradicate Employment Racketeering
The Federal Character Commission, FCC, has promised to eradicate all forms of employment racketeering towards ensure equitable distribution of jobs opportunities across Nigeria.
The Federal Commissioner of the Agency, representing Oyo State, Hon. Abass Aleshinloye, made the disclosure while speaking with Journalists on the core mandate of the Agency.
He disclosed that the Federal Character Commission has taken a firm stand against job racketeering towards ensuring that such unethical practices are discouraged and brought to an end in all government agencies and institutions.
Aleshinloye stated that the Agency has already put in place necessary measures to monitor compliance by various institutions with the directive and guidelines from the commission.
He further revealed that the Commission has launched a digital platform under the visionary leadership of the Executive Chairman of the commission for effective monitoring reporting and recruitment updates and dissemination of information regarding the activities of the Federal Character Commission and compliance nationwide.
Aleshinloye restated the stance of the commission towards ensuring equity and fairness in the distribution of employment opportunities, infrastructure among others across Nigeria.
