The protest for the removal of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Joash Amupitan, has extended to the United Kingdom, UK, Parliament.

apparently, Nigerians resident in the UK, joining the protest at home, went to the UK Parliament, demanding the removal of the INEC Chairman. The protesters insisted on administration of free, fair, credible and transparent elections in Nigeria in 2027.

Thereafter, the British Government, placed the 2027 Presidential election in Nigeria on close International Surveillance.
Back home, leaders of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, led mass protest in Abuja, protesting INEC's removal of ADC leaders names from the Commission's Portal, including demand for the removal of the INEC chairman.
