Shehu Sani Exonerates Tinubu From Raging Insecurity, Economic Weos
Shehu Sani has exonerated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the raging insecurity in the country. The human rights advocate defended the President, arguing that it is unfair to blame Tinubu for the country's problems.
Sani was of the view that the problems have been there for decades.
He urged Nigerians to recognize that bad governance and insecurity didn't start with Tinubu's presidency, which, he said, has only been three years.
Sani, visiting the National Union of Road Transport Workers, and a women empowerment center in Kaduan, pointed out that schools, worship centers, and communities in the North are often targeted by criminals and extremist groups, adding that some of these groups operate across Nigeria's borders. He stressed that solutions to insecurity must come from within Nigeria, focusing on strengthening the armed forces and unity among citizens.
