The Center for Social Justice, Equity and Transparency, CESJET, had defended the leadership of the Investment and Securities Tribunal. The group said the appointment is legal, valid, and fully compliant with the Investment and Securities Act 2025.

Executive Director of CESJET, David Yakubu, said the appointment of Barrister Aminu Jinadu as Chairman followed due process and falls within the provisions of the law.

He described the tribunal’s leadership as stable and forward-looking, noting that Jinadu has provided steady direction since assuming office.

CESJET also defended the appointment of Barrister Aminu Jinadu, saying it was lawfully made under the constitutional powers of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The group added that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation acted within established legal and administrative procedures in the appointment of agency heads.
