Benue State Government has delivered emergency relief materials to internally displaced persons, IDPs, from Sai Community in Mbajir Council Ward, Katsina-Ala LGA, following recent attacks.

The humanitarian reliefs were delivered by the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, to the displaced communities after 10 persons were killed by armed bandits and several others injured in the attrack last week.

The Executive Secretary of SEMA. Dr James Iorpuu, coordinated the distribution of 300 bags of rice, 150 bags of beans, 200 cartons of Indomie, cooking oil, Maggi seasoning, and salt.

The items were officially received by the Chairman of Katsina-Ala LGA, Justine Shaku, and handed over to Reverend father Isaka. Jacob of St. Mary's Quasi Parish for distribution to the displaced persons.
