Police Parade Suspended Criminals in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command, has recorded a major breakthrough with the arrest of three suspected bandits who recently displayed assault weapons on social media while dressed in military camouflage.

Parading the suspects in Abuja, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Sanusi, said the three men, all residents of Rijana in Kaduna State, were arrested with an AK-47 rifle and thirty rounds of live ammunition.

Ahmed Sanusi disclosed that the arrest followed digital forensic investigations and credible intelligence, which helped operatives track the suspects believed to be involved in kidnapping and other criminal activities within and around the Federal Capital Territory.

Also paraded, was Emmanuel Leku, who was alleged to have killed a friend, following a dispute over a business transaction.

The Command also provided an update on the recent kidnap attempt in Byazhin, Kubwa, where survivors recounted their ordeal and commended the swift response of security operatives.

On vehicle regulations, Ahmed Sanusi announced that the Command would soon begin enforcement against unauthorised tinted glass vehicles, concealed number plates and unregistered vehicles operating within the FCT.

The Police Commissioner explained that criminals often exploit such vehicles to evade identification and detection, making strict enforcement necessary to improve security and public safety across the Federal Capital Territory.
