The Police invaded kidnappers hideout in the FCT, Abuja, arrested some persons identified as "Abuja Big Boys".

The FCT Police Command, in a spring operation, took the kidnappers unaware, confiscating over ₦8 million perceived ransom. The arrested "Abuja big boys" were alleged to be perpetrators of the kidnap crime.

The Police said investigations are ongoing to identify other members of the syndicate and ensure everyone connected to the case is brought to justice.
