APC Threatens Fayemi Over Anti-Party Critical Views
The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has subtly threatened former Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State with sanctions after the former minister in the Buhari administration criticised the political and ideological aberrations in the APC currently.
APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, dared Fayemi of sanctions if he does not refrain from criticism or demarketing of the party.
Fayemi had said that APC has deviated from the vision and ideology of the founding fathers.
Ajibola Basiru, APC National Secretary, admonished Fayemi to desist from statements that could damage the image of the APC or face disciplinary actions.
According to Basiru, "disciplinary measures could be taken against him for comments that may portray the party in a bad light."
