A federal lawmaker, James Abiodun Faleke, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, reflecting on the 2026 APC National Convention, declared that the All Progressives Congress, APC, is set to lead Nigeria to the next phase of growth and progress with the new party leadership.

Faleke coordinated the APC Sub-Committee on Protocol in delivering its mandate at the 2026 APC National Convention, where the party endorsed members of the National Working Committee, NWC, for the  administration of the party.

Professor Nentawe Yilwatda was endorsed APC National Chairman; Senator Surajudeen Basiru was retained as the National Secretary, while members of the National Executive Committee, NEC, were also retained.

Faleke declared: "With this renewed leadership, the APC is poised to lead Nigeria into its next phase of growth and progress."
