There is emerging pressure on the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, to resign his ministerial appointment for governorship race in Oyo State in the 2027 general elections.

The minister had met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja, to present a comprehensive report on his performance as power minister in the past two and a half years.
