Peace and Security Remain Top Priority for Rivers State, Says Fubara
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, says his administration remains unshaken in its commitment to peace and security despite recurring political distractions.
Speaking at the grand finale of the 2026 Port Harcourt Polo Tournament, the Governor insisted that the state remains open and safe for global investors.
However, the Governor did not shy away from the state’s political landscape as he expressed disappointment that political tensions have shadowed the tournament for three consecutive years, yet he maintained that governance would not be derailed.
