The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at the weekend commissioned the National Assembly first Christian Chapel in Abuja.

In attendance were former Head of State, retired General Yakubu Gowon; the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, among others.

Several political and spiritual leaders used the occasion to urge repentance, unity, patriotism and God-guided lawmaking.

According ton the First Lady, "The commissioning of this Chapel marks a historic moment for the National Assembly as Christian legislators and staff now have a place of worship.

"To God be the glory!"
