Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has commenced a process of peace building towards adopting inclusive governance after reconciliation with his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

To accelerate the peace building process in the post-crisis era, Fubara dissolved the State Executive Council. This is in anticipation of an all inclusive appointments in the formation of a new cabinet.

Governor Fubara expressed deep appreciation to the former members of the State cabinet.

The governor, thereafter, directed the commissioners and special advisers to hand over to the permanent secretaries or the most senior officers in their ministries with immediate effect. He wished them the best in their future endeavours.
