The Chief-of-staff to Governor Douye Diri, Peter Peretubo Akpe, on Wednesday, took oath of Office as the new Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.

At the swearing-in ceremony at the Government House, Yenagoa, Governor Douye Diri narrated how the new deputy governor was selected through his dedication to service.

The Chief Judge of Bayelsa State administered the oath of office on the new deputy governor.
