Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has charged residents of the state to use their franchise in the forthcoming election to reject illegality, political corruption and opposition pressures capable of subverting democracy.

He gave this charge at the University of Osun State, during a programme tagged: Imole WAEC Scholarship Award, organised to celebrate academic excellence and reward outstanding students in the 2025 Senior Secondary School Examination.

Governor Adeleke reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to education transformation and inclusive social welfare for the future of young citizens and entire people of the state.

A cash of N1 million was presented to the overall best student in WAEC 2025, while best outstanding students from each local government areas in the state were also presented with N100 thousand, each, with various cash and material gifts to teachers and other stakeholders.
