United Nigeria Airlines Promotes Senior First Officer Dairo Oluwadamilare To Captain

The United Nigeria Airlines, UNA, has promoted Senior First Officer Dairo Oluwadamilare to the rank of Captain on the Embraer ERJ-145 fleet.

The Managing Director of UNA, Mazi Osita Okonkwo, at his decoration, remarked that Oluwadamilare was promoted after the successful completion of all required training and regulatory assessments.

According to the MD, "the rank carries significant responsibility, demanding proven capability, sound judgment, and a sustained commitment to safety, qualities Captain Dairo has demonstrated over time."

‎Okonkwo maintained: "This achievement marks a significant milestone in his career, reflecting a consistent demonstration of professionalism, technical competence, and adherence to the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. Having progressed through UNA's structured training and development pathway, Captain Dairo’s elevation underscores the strength of the airline’s command development framework and merit-based promotion system.
