The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has denied resignation from the cabinet of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. "I've Not Resigned," the minister declared.

The Special Adviser on Strategic Communications and Media to the Minister of Power, Bolaji Tunji, described reports of the minister’s resignation as fake.

Tunji, in a Whatsapp message on Tuesday night, said Adebayo Adelabu, is focused on delivering on his mandate as the Minister of Power.

He called on those behind the fake news to desist from spreading unsubstantiated claims.

Recall that the Minister, during an engagement with Power Correspondents last week, had stated that his primary assignment now is fixing the crisis in the power Sector.
