Malami Regaining Momentum After Detention Travail
Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN, has been regaining political momentum in Kebbi State after his detention travail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and Department of Security Service, DSS.
Malami's residence has become a theatre of political pilgrimage and solidarity visits since he was released from detention.
A former Special Assistant to late President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, joined the list of solidarity visitors to the former Justice Minister.
She attributed Malami's travail to refusal to join the All Progressives Congress, APC, or what she referred to as "the #OuroborosCult, known in Nigeria, as the #RenewedHopeCult."
Onochie expressed that Malami grew bigger stature after his detention, adding that he has become the favourite of Kebbi residents.
Onochie highlighted:
"Yesterday was a happy day. We paid a visit to an ADC Leader, Abubakar Malami, SAN, who refused to join the #OuroborosCult known in Nigeria, as the #RenewedHopeCult.
"They locked him up but he grew bigger and bigger, particularly among the people of Kebbi state. He is their favourite too.
"Nature has a way of resetting human beings. Even his utterances, right from when he was released, showed that this is a brand new Abubakar Malami who has been unleashed. He will be taking no prisoners.
"He is energised. He is healed. He is ready to assume duty as the next Governor of Kebbi state. Please don't bring the lies they sold to you on the media here. We know the truth and the truth, shall always prevail.
"Thank you to Mr. Peter Obi, our ADC National Woman Leader, Naomi Lasara Abel, our National Youth Leader, Balarabe Rufa'i, and all our people for paying a solidarity visit to our brother and his family..."
