Senator Gbenga Daniel, former Governor of Ogun State, has purchased the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at N20 million in the buildup to the 2027 general elections.

Gbenga Daniel is seeking re-election into the Senate to represent Ogun East Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

According to Gbenga Daniel, "Today, I picked up my nomination and expression of interest forms as I seek to return to the Nigerian Senate, continuing my efforts to provide effective and responsive representation for the people of Ogun East Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections."
