Appeal Court Gives PDP Window For Reconciliation, Adjourns

The three man panel of the Court of Appeal, sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State, led by justice Biobele Abraham-Gorgewell, has granted the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, window for out of court settlement, to enable the party to reconcile its internal crisis through internal mechanisms.

The Appeal Court, thereafter, adjourned the suit on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Elective National Convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State, in November 2025, till further notice.

The Court directed the PDP leadership and counsel of Legal Representatives from all sides, to resolve their internal Crisis amicably, putting into consideration INEC guidelines which is in process.

The Appeal Court formally granted them leave to resolve their matters amicably.

Thew court, however, stated that if the matter can not be resolved, lawyers should revert to the Court.

It will be recalled that the Court of Appeal, sitting in Abuja, had nullified the PDP Elective National Convention, where Kabiru Turaki SAN emerged the National Chairman.
