Toyin Saraki Shares Moment With King Charles In U.K.

The Founder/President of Toyin Saraki Global Policy & Philanthropy Office, as well as WellbeingAfrica Foundation, Toyin Saraki, rising from the 40-day morning of her father, made her first international outing, attending a reception hosted by the King of the United Kingdom, U.K., His Majesty, King Charles III, at St James’s Palace, in celebration of the Nigerian Diaspora in the United Kingdom.

Sharing a moment with the Monarch, Toyin declared: "It was, therefore, especially meaningful to join fellow Nigerians and friends of Nigeria in recognising the contributions of the diaspora and the enduring ties between the United Kingdom and Nigeria".
 
Toyin Saraki, wife of former President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, in her memoir wrote:

"Honoured to attend the reception hosted by His Majesty King Charles III at St James’s Palace in celebration of the Nigerian Diaspora in the United Kingdom.

"This engagement marks my first international appearance following the conclusion of the traditional forty-day period of mourning for my beloved father, HRH The Otunba Adekunle Ojora, of blessed memory, observed in accordance with our cultural traditions in Nigeria. 

"It was therefore especially meaningful to join fellow Nigerians and friends of Nigeria in recognising the contributions of the diaspora and the enduring ties between the United Kingdom and Nigeria.

"I was accompanied by Zelia Bukhari, Director of Global Health Policy & Advocacy at the Toyin Saraki Global Policy & Philanthropy Office.

"The @WellbeingAfrica Foundation is pleased to note the continued impact of The @KingsTrustInternational in supporting young people in advancing professional capacity-building skills and  entrepreneurship across the Commonwealth and beyond".
