Chief Solomon Areyinka, at the congress of the party, emerged the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State.

Areyinka was adopted a consensus candidate at the Delta APC State Congress held at the Cenotaph in Asaba.

Elder Moses Iduh was elected Deputy chairman, while Chief Efe Uko emerged as APC State Secretary.

In his acceptance speech, Chief Solomon Areyinka thanked the party leaders and members for the confidence reposed in him and members of the new working committee.

The Congress drew party leaders and stakeholders from across the state and beyond.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori charged the newly constituted APC state working committee to begin immediate preparations for total victory in the 2027 General Elections.
