Police Embark On Manhunt Of Killers Of Traditional Ruler in Agamo, Ondo
The Police have declared readiness to embark on manhunt for the killers of a traditional ruler, HRH, Oba Kehinde Jacob Falodun, Alagamo of Agamo, in Akure North, Ondo State.
The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Adebowale Lawal, leading a joint security team of DSS, Civil Defence, and military chiefs to Agamo, affirmed that the police will ensure the culprits are apprehended.
The CP assured residents of the community that the perpetrators will not go on punish. He appealed to members of the community to remain calm and be assured that justice will be done.
The CP urged them to share information that can lead to the arrest of the killers.
A High Chief in the town, Odeyemi Busayo, speaking on behalf of the community, narrated that the gunmen stormed the palace, dragged out the monarch, and hit him with stick on the head.
The high chief urged security agencies to hunt down the perpetrators.
