The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has emphasized the critical role of Nigerian students in promoting national peace, innovation, and development as the world marks International Students’ Day. 

The commemoration of this year International Students Day focused on academic excellence, youth empowerment, and nation-building.

The National President of the Association, Olusola Ladoja while speaking at the occasion held at the University of Abuja, noted that Nigerian students must position themselves within global trends of creativity, discipline, and innovation to remain relevant in a rapidly evolving world.

The Executive Director, Federal Ministry of Housing Authority, Director Finance and account Mathias Terwase Byuan, assured a befitting office for the National Association of Nigerian Students NANS in Abuja.

Also, the Global Women Ambassador, Kemi Amusan, encouraged Nigerian students in the diaspora to come home contribute to the Country's development.
