MAKINDE LAUDS WORKFORCE AT 2025 PUBLIC CIVIL SERVICE MERIT AWARDS.
Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde has stated that his administration will continue to promote the best irrespective of political affiliation. Makinde made this known at the Public Service Week & 2024 Merit Award held at the House of Chiefs, Secretariat, and Ibadan today.
Makinde notes that he has encouraged gender balance, extended road infrastructure lifespan and will continue to give workers welfare utmost priority in the state. While charging the citizens to be fully involve in enhancing the security in their various communities, assured of prompt response through the well-funded formal and informal security actors.
In her welcome address, the head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni described the event as more than a tradition, but a platform of renewal of service and recognition of excellent workers across the state's ministries, departments and agencies.
A former Oyo State Head of Service, Adesoji Eniade, commended the flexibility in the state civil/public service, which he said has helped constant transparent service delivery, urged workers to further give room for collaboration and co-operation for due excellence.
