Bandits were on fresh attacks in Plateau State hours after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in the state on condolence visit.

The merchants of violence resumed hostilities to, perhaps, demystify the Nigerian president, killing two people, injuring two others in Heipang, near Plateau State Polytechnic; as well as killing one person in Riyom Local Government Area.

President Tinubu, on the visit to Jos, reassured residents of the state and families of victims of the massacre in Jos North Local Government Area on Palm Sunday, of the commitment of the government to their safety.

President Tinubu, on condolence visit, ordered the deployment of over 5,000 surveillance cameras to plateau State to forestall further occurrence.
