A building Collapse occurred at Gudu Area of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, killing four persons, leaving eight others on danger list.

The incident occurred on Saturday morning while workers were still site. There was intervention of the FRSC, Fire Service, NSCDC, the Police, including operatives of the National Emergency Management Authority, NEMA, to coordination rescue operations.

The timely arrival of First Aid Responders led to the rescue of 16 Casualties out of which four were dead, according to NEMA.

The victims are now at the Asokoro General Hospital while rescue operation is ongoing to save those trapped in the rubble.
