A human and political rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, on Monday, made a telephone call to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, demanding immediate release of Justice Cracks, who was taken from the court into custody by security operatives.

The action precipitated mass action and protest at the Court premises by some youths and followers of Justice.

The minister, however, gave the reason that he was not in the country and cannot do anything. He gave appointment for 10.00am on Wednesday.

Sowore disagreed with the Minister, telling him that a government is not run like that, and that he can take action from anywhere in the world on matters affecting human life.
He, however, agreed with the minister for a meeting on Wednesday.
