The leadership of the Senate paid on a Sallah homage visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

The team comprised of President of teh Senate, Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Presidnet of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, Senate Majority Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, and other preincipal officers. 

According to the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, their discussions focused on national unity, good governance, and the continued collaboration required to advance the progress, stability, and development of Nigeria.

He added: "the spirit of Eid reminds us all of the enduring values of sacrifice, service, peace, and collective responsibility in nation-building.

"I once again extend warm Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and pray for continued peace, progress, and prosperity for our dear nation."
