Seven years ago, when I first took the oath of office as your Governor, I made a solemn promise to listen, to work tirelessly and to build a Lagos that works for everyone.

Today, I salute every Lagosian for standing firmly with us over the last seven years. Your support, patience, and belief in this administration have made the progress we have recorded possible.

Despite difficult moments, from the COVID-19 pandemic to economic challenges, we stayed focused on our promise to build a better Lagos for everyone. Across transportation, healthcare, education, housing, urban renewal, and youth empowerment, we have continued to move Lagos forward together.

Over the past month, through our ministerial press briefings, we have presented our scorecard and rendered account of our stewardship to the people of Lagos. Our modest achievements belong to all of us.

I also thank His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the Renewed Hope agenda, which continues to support growth and development across key sectors in our state.

To our civil servants, traditional rulers, religious leaders, community stakeholders, party leaders, and every resident who has played a part in this journey, thank you.

We are not slowing down. There is still more work to do, and by the grace of God, we will finish strong. I will round off the anniversary activities with a media briefing detailing all the promises we have kept.

Lagos is rising because Lagosians continue to believe in the vision of a Greater Lagos.
