Vice President Kashim Shettima was, on Saturday, honoured with ‘Odoziani of Aniocha North’ Chieftaincy Title in Anioma nation, Delta State

The conferment of the Odoziani of Aniocha North on Vice President Kashim Shettima, was performed by the Chairman of the Aniocha North Traditional Rulers Committee, His Royal Majesty, Agbogidi Obi Nkebakwu Emmanuel Ezedinbu III, Obi of Ugboba Kingdom, on behalf of the royal fathers of the area, who were all present.

Vice President Shettima attended the funeral of late Chief Israel Ogbue, father-in-law to the Chairman of UBA, Tony Elumelu, at Onicha-Olona, Delta State.

Thereafter, VP Shettima was treated to a colourful reception at the residence Tony Elumelu in Onicha-Ukwu.

In attendance was Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly.

Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori of Delta State was also in attendance. The Governor was also decorated with the cultural Akwa-Ocha attire of the Aniocha in reflection of the tradition and values.
