The Accord Party, AP, has commenced enlightenment of party members and residents in Osun State on the amended Electoral Act, in the build up to the forthcoming governorship and general elections.

In line with the directive of the independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the leadership of Accord Party in Osun State, organised a sensitization programme to enlighten members on the new Electoral Act..

The AP stakeholders, who endorsed Governor Adebayo Adeleke for re-election, said the sensitization is imperative to guide members on how to exercise their franchise in line with the new Electoral Act, in order to ensure that their civic rights are not trampled upon during the August governorship election in the state.

The stakeholders, from the 10 local government areas in Osun Central Senatorial District, also declared support for the convener, Ganiyu Olaoluwa, whom they noted, has facilitated numerous grassroot development at different times in office, and now aspiring for senatorial seat in the zone.

Ganiyu Olaoluwa emphasised that Governor Adeleke’s re-election is a gateway for anyone aspiring for elective office under the ACCORD Party in the 2027 general elections.
