The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in the 2027 general elections, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has returned from a foreign business trip.
While in overseas, former Minister of Transportation in the Buhari administration, Rotimi Amaechi, was nominated the 2027 vice presidential candidate of the ADC.

Atiku arrived Nigeria at the time political parties started to submit nominated presidential candidates and the running mates to INEC.
