Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has given impetus to fortifying security agencies in the state. The governor distributed 100 operational vehicles fitted with communication gadgets to the various security organizations in the state.

The beneficiaries of the crime fighting capacity building intervention include the Police, Operation Burst, DSS, Correctional Service, Oyo Amotekun Corps, including the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority, OYRTMA.
