One Division Holds Interdenominational Church Service for Armed Forces Remembrance Day
Nigerian leaders, including governor Uba Sani of Kaduna state and other senior military officers on Sunday, honoured fallen military heroes, veterans and serving men in celebration of 2026 armed forces remembrance day.
The 1 Division Nigerian Army interdenominational church service for the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day took place on Sunday at St. Peter's Catholic Military Church, Ribadu Cantonment, and Kaduna. Governor Uba Sani, represented by his commissioner for justice barrister James kanyip says governor Sani's administration will continue to celebrate the services of fallen heroes and support their families through its social investment and interventions
On his part the general officer commanding one division Nigerian army Kaduna, major general Abubakar Wase, represented by his chief of staff Brig Gen Timothy Opurum says the Nigerian army remembrance day call for reflection and use the opportunity appreciate those in service and families of fallen heroes. This service is part of a series of events and programs arrange to honor fallen heroes and serving personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
