Ogun Leaders Urge Prayers for Tinubu, Nigeria At Ramadan
Stakeholders in Ogun State have urged Muslim and Christian faithful to use the end of the Ramadan and Lent periods to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigeria.
The call was made during the 2026 Ramadan Prayer and Lecture organised in Ayetoro by the Gbenga Akinwande Coalition Group in honour of Senator Solomon Adeola, widely known as Yayi.
Akinwande James, on behalf of the Chairman, Engr. Gbenga Akinwande, called on Nigerians to pray for President Tinubu, asking God to grant him wisdom to address the country’s challenges, which include hunger, security challenges and economic hardship.
He noted that while the President is making efforts to reposition the country, divine guidance is essential for meaningful progress.
He also urged residents of the state to pray for Governor Dapo Abiodun for more wisdom and strength in leading Ogun State.
Also, Oluwagbamila Abiodun advised Nigerians to pray ahead of the 2027 general elections for peaceful and credible polls that will produce the right leaders.
In the same vein, Sherif Alani Adebayo encouraged citizens to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and actively participate in the electoral process, stressing that the future of the country lies in the hands of the electorate.
