Kogi APC Ward Chairmen Pass Vote Of No Confidence On Senator Karimi

Ward Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Kogi State, have passed a vote of no confidence on the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sunday Karimi, over alleged anti-party activities.

The Chairman of the LGA Ward Chairmen Forum, Olorunfemi Frank, at a press conference, accused the senator of actions that undermine party leadership and create division within the party in the state.

He alleged that Senator Karimi sponsored faceless groups spreading misinformation and attacking the party leadership.

The forum also criticised the senator for failing to establish a functional constituency office more than two years, after assuming office.

The ward chairmen further alleged that he maintains political ties with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and sponsors media attacks against Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The forum said it has unanimously withdrawn support for the senator and called on the national leadership of the APC to take disciplinary action.
