The Lagos State Police Command has directed officers to intensify security operations along the Mile 12–Ketu axis following a social media report alleging robbery attacks on motorists in the area.

This move is due to an alarm raised by someone who claimed that armed youths were attacking and robbing people in their vehicles around Mile 12 and Ketu on Monday morning.

Reacting to the information, the Police Public Relations Officer for the command, Abimbola Adebisi, said the Commissioner of Police has ordered immediate action to strengthen security in the area.

She said the Command has directed officers to intensify security operations along the Mile 12–Ketu axis following the report of robbery attacks on motorists in the area.

Adebisi also urged residents and motorists to promptly report suspicious activities or emergencies through the command dedicated helplines.
