The Commander of the Nigerian Navy Ship Delta, Commodore Shehu Tasiu, has called on officers and men of the Command to be dedicated to the discharge of their duties and sacrifice to the nation.

Commodore Tasiu, in a media interaction at the NNS Delta headquarters, Warri, in the spirit of Easter, emphasized the need for service to National unity and dedication to duty.

At the Parley, attended by media practitioners, officers and ratings, as well as the civilian staff of the NNS Delta, Commodore Shehu Mohammed Tasiu said sacrifice should be extended to the host communities.

On the need for collaboration with the media, the Delta Navy Commander said it is the positive thing to do in tackling security challenges.

The Navy Commander, who once served as the Base Operations Officer of the NNS Delta, promised to sustain the Mandate of the Chief of the Navy Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas.
